Thank you for choosing Kahin (“we”, “us”). This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Kahin mobile app (the “App”).

  • Device & usage data: device model/OS, language/time zone, app version, anonymized analytics events, crash logs, performance metrics.
  • Account & profile data (optional): name, email, birth date, profile preferences.
  • Purchases: product IDs, purchase tokens and status (via Google Play Billing).
  • Notifications: FCM token, notification preferences (daily/weekly/promotions, quiet hours).
  • Support: emails/messages you send to us.
  • Media you upload (optional): profile photo, “cosmic mate” photos (stored in Firebase Storage).
  1. How We Use Data
  • Provide and improve features, personalize content, ensure fair‑use limits and cooldowns.
  • Process purchases and entitlement checks.
  • Send notifications you opt into; respect Quiet Hours (22:00–07:00) with deferral.
  • Diagnose crashes, prevent fraud/abuse, ensure security and legal compliance.
  • Communicate with you (service messages; marketing only with your consent).
  1. Legal Bases (GDPR)

Performance of contract, legitimate interests (analytics, fraud prevention), consent (notifications/marketing), legal obligation.

  1. Sharing & Processors

We do not sell personal data. We use trusted processors only for the purposes above:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging)
  • Google Play Billing (payments/entitlements)
  • Cloud hosting/CDN and customer support tooling as needed

If we use AI providers for text generation, content is de‑identified where feasible and processed under DPAs.

  1. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary. Soft‑deleted profiles are flagged and scheduled for permanent removal after a retention window (e.g., photos ~30 days, lightweight docs ~90 days). Backups may persist briefly.

  1. Security

We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us.

  1. Your Rights

Access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, and consent withdrawal. Contact: support@kahin.app.

  1. International Transfers

Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs).

We may update this Policy; we’ll post a new “Last updated” date.
